Lauren Whitworth is a Brighton based make-up artist and beauty educator with 18 years industry experience under her belt.

Surrey born, Lauren has just returned to the UK following 12 years living and working in New York City, where her career as a celebrity and fashion make-up artist gained much reverence. Her work has graced global magazine covers, billboards, ad campaigns, subway posters, television shows and commercials. During her long tenancy in the United States, Lauren also obtained a fiercely loyal following amongst high-profile celebrity clients.

Iconic photographers such as David LaChapelle have booked her. She is the artist of choice amongst Oscar Award and Emmy Award winning directors and producers such as Dan Klein. She has been spokesperson to global brand, CoverGirl. She has been head make-up designer for Vera Wang's runway shows. She has been sent on assignments globally, from London to New York to Moscow for international newspapers.  Just some of Lauren's clients include The Gap, Bloomingdales, Kohl's, Sephora, L'Oreal and CoverGirl. Publications include Vogue.com, Harper's Bazaar, W magazine, Glamour, The London Times and The NY Post. Lauren also discreetly works with many A-List celebrities such as Kate Hudson and politicians from across the country.

In her youth, Lauren graduated with a Bachelors degree in Photography prior to embarking on the journey of becoming a professional make-up artist. Therefore Lauren has always had an innate understanding of how make-up translates through the camera specifically. So whether she is using a traditional make-up application or a more modern airbrush technique, the results are always flawless.  Several years spent making up the news anchors for Sky News perfected her understanding of high-definition camera work too.

Not only is Lauren's make-up artistry highly sought after due to her almost two-decade long experience, genuine warmth and calming, friendly demeanor, Lauren has also spent the last three years teaching masterclasses within top NYC Make-up School Nina Mua.  Mentoring budding new make-up artists, teaching them all about techniques, on-set etiquette and how to grow their own businesses has been one of Lauren's most rewarding achievements.

Lauren left NYC to continue on her journey of growth and development and is excited to be back in beautiful England where she lives with her tattoo artist partner and two chubby pugs.
